Megaphone Writers Community Interest Company (CIC) developed out of the project: Megaphone mentoring and was established in 2021.
The intention was to make Megaphone’s work more
– sustainable: the company has an existence separate from any individual director
– accountable to its community, via its legally binding statement of community interest
– and credible to funders: the company has at least two un-related directors (currently Leila Rasheed and Stephanie King) and a bank account of its own.
